Antoinette Denise has been sewing since she was 11 years old and hasn't stop since. She attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA, majoring in Home Economics Education.
Antoinette Denise went on to have a career in Nutrition and Public Health. After retiring as a Public Health Nutritionist, she entered the field of education as a Family and Consumer Science teacher. She taught sewing as a first year teacher and surprisingly, had as many as twenty eight students in a class who wanted to genuinely learn how to sew.
When the curriculum changed, she also taught Food, Nutrition and Wellness, Lifespan Nutrition and Food Science, Home Interior and Early Childhood. After fourteen years of teaching Antoinette Denise retired. Now in retirement, and working part time as substitute teacher, she is pursuing a dream teaching sewing full time.
